Vacationing with friends and family can lead to wonderful travel memories that will last a lifetime. With this in mind, we’re proud to share that we’re sponsoring an exciting, new PBS reality TV series announced this week that will put the spotlight on family and friends taking trips together at beautiful destinations across the U.S.
Called Getting Away Together, the series will debut in October 2011 and call attention to compelling life stories, destinations, “best-kept” travel secrets and takeaway tips to help viewers make decisions about their upcoming travels. From girlfriend getaways to family reunions and milestone celebrations, each episode features a new group of travelers as they unwind with meaningful travel experiences in fun locales, with vacation rentals as their home base.
The series is being produced by the Vacation Rental Managers Association and PineRidge Film & Television, and is sponsored by TripAdvisor, CSA Travel Protection and 13 diverse travel destinations.
