20 million people have added more than 1.5 billion cities to their TripAdvisor Cities I've Visited maps
If you love sharing travels with your friends, you’re going to want to read on! At TripAdvisor, we’re excited to be among a new class of apps to make travel more social through our continued integration with Facebook. And today, we’re happy to announce that through the TripAdvisor Cities I’ve Visited app, travelers will soon be able to pin destinations that they’ve traveled to on their travel map and display it on their Facebook profile. Travelers who use the app can share their past travel experiences, get advice on upcoming trips right from their profiles, and discover new destinations through the people they trust most – their friends.
Haven’t used Cities I’ve Visited yet? It’s a pretty cool app! In fact, not only has it grown to become one of the largest travel apps on Facebook for the last several years, but 20 million people have also added more than 1.5 billion cities to their maps. Plus, the app is easy to use and offers users full control over how their travel activities are shared.

hi – i am missing a function where i can see more than one of my friends travel map at the same time – I think you had it a couble of years ago.
and also a possibility to see friends cities and attractions

I’ve used and like this app. I have 78 cities pinned on my map.
I’ve used it, and I’ve pinned 158 cities in 38 countries.
When will it be ready for facebook profile ? Please let us know.

How do I load the Tripadvisor App on Timeline. I have got it in my facebook homepage applications but I can’t see in Timeline.

Hi Simon – Thanks for your message. For the Cities I’ve Visited app to appear on your Facebook Timeline, please go back into the app and pin at least one new city.
sorry, but I’m not able to see my tripadvisor map on the timeline… I have added a new city how suggested in the previous post but nothing to see!!

I added Cities I’ve Visited in my favorites links, and when I go to it, I only see the light blue background: why? how do I have to do?

i deactivated my facebook account and do not intend on getting it back. is there anyway i can access my trip advisor account?
Hi Pam. Without Facebook, you won’t be able to access the Cities I’ve Visited app. However, you can still log into your TripAdvisor account, directly on TripAdvisor.com. You can also still use the mobile app. Hope that helps!
