The results of the TripAdvisor Cities Survey were announced today, taking a look at how travelers and locals alike view 40 popular tourist cities around the world. After the 75,000+ responses were tallied from travelers who have recently written a TripAdvisor review, Tokyo came in with the most accolades, ranking number one for best taxi services, friendliest taxi drivers, best public transportation, cleanest streets, and safety. New York was rated highest for shopping, but fell way behind when it came to cleanliness and value. The city ranked highest for value? Lisbon, Portugal.
